Just watched 300. I'm so glad I read the GN first; I had a much better appreciation of it. Maybe I'm a bit biased because my high school mascot was a Spartan... but I absolutely loved that movie. Up until now, I think gave the "most dark & beautiful" award to From Hell, but this blew that away. My gods it was gorgeous. I'm strangely considering buying it now. And it's funny, because I rented it once and returned it to the store without watching. And this time I squeezed it in tonight after the KICKASS hockey game because it was due yesterday and MAN am I glad I watched it!

I've been away from LJ & e-mail & facebook for a few days but I'll respond to everyone's posts tomorrow. I've been madly registering hundreds of books for the book festival this upcoming weekend. It's driving me mad.

But one of the books, a collection of jokes kids sent to the Rosie O'Donnell Show, had a joke I just had to share before I forgot it:
