You know you're in trouble when you're skimming through a book and read the words "what about the bug you have?" and are horribly disappointed a second later when it turns out to be a spy story. Not that I got my hopes up, but... well... it's set in a cold climate and a page before I'd spotted the word 'dizzy' so I was sort of hoping maaaaaaaaaybe it would be a head cold ;-)

In other news, Ianto/Jack made a brief apperance in my dream last night, entirely naked and having sex right before my eyes. Unfortunately for y'all, it was a watersports context (I was discussing fanfic & kinks with someone and we were using them as an example, then, suddenly, there they were doing it on a loft bed) and unfortunately for me, I woke up before they could finish or get to the really good stuff! Damn, you Alarm Clock!!! But, heck, the lasting image of Ianto and Captain Jack together has been a gorgeous thing to walk around with all day, let me tell you!

Why can't I have dreams like that more often? Or, if I do, why can't I remember them when I wake up?

Haha, you do that book skimming thing too?! I swear my mind fills in the blanks on its own for stuff like that.

FYI, the Torchwood book 'Something in the Water' is full of cold/flu references, though the actual 'infection' is far less pleasant and much more alien in nature, as befitting the fandom.

Wow, Jack/Ianto sex dreams? I'm jealous...well, except for the watersports thing. Sorry, squicky, though it could be much worse, and I have a feeling Jack would consider that rather tame anyway. Though Jack's probably not so big into bondage much lately, if i had to guess. ;) I have had fragments of dreams with Ianto in them, and possibly Jack, but it was nowhere near sexy and it was full of cross-fandom incoherence, as most of my dreams are. I am pretty sure I saw Daniel Jackson and Atlantis in that same dream, possibly Elrond and my mental version of Glorfindel, as well as something about the hospital I work at. The memories tend to fade very quickly once I wake, so it's hard to be sure now. I should keep some sort of log...
