Abortions for all! Finally some decent population control! heehee JK! Seriously, though, I believe it should be up to the people involved to choose what's right. I don't know if I could do it but I don't want someone saying I (or anyone else) can't.
Would our country (United States) fall with a woman president?
Not just because she's a woman, no; don't be stupid. Besides, the man in charge now has done a pretty good job of running it into the ground.
Do you believe in the death penalty?
I'm completely against it. Realistically I can't imagine how I'd feel if I were put in a situation where someone who killed my family or friends were up for the death penalty... but I like to think I'd be against it even then.
Do you wish marijuana would be legalized already?
Yes!
Do you believe in God?
Nope. I consider myself to be an agnostic with Earth-based pagan tendencies. I believe there's something more than just us in the universe and I believe in spirits and karma.
Do you think same sex marriage should be legalized?
YES. I can support the Civil Union movement but deep down, I honestly don't even like civil unions. If we're going to use the word marriage as a legal term (for taxes, etc.), then I want everyone to be able to marry legally. Otherwise make *everyone* get civil unions instead of marriages. I think it's absolutely absurd for all people in a country not to have the same rights when it comes to falling in love and sharing one's whole life with someone else. Equality now, on all levels, please.
Do you think its wrong that so many Hispanics are moving to the USA?
Why the fuck would I? If you want to come live here, you're welcome to. I'd certainly prefer you do so legally but if you're in a position where you can't do so legally and it's a matter of life or death then all the more reason for you to be here IMO.
A twelve year old girl has a baby...should she keep it?
That's up to her. I'd say physically having a child is probably a bad idea at that age but it's her decision. I'd also agree that if she has it, someone of that age can't raise it well.
Should the alcohol age be lowered to 18?
Well... this is difficult for me to answer. My instinct is first to say NOOOOO! Second instinct is to say the age should be raised to 1000 or something. But I personally don't like drinking so I'm kind of biased- it wouldn't really affect me. Or would it? If it's lowered to 18, just a few more kids will *legally* and easily be able to have access to tons of alcohol. Okay, so I know there's that argument that if kids want it, they're going to find a way to get it. Except kids are STUPID. 18-year-olds are going to buy it for their high school friends and kids and I wouldn't trust kids of that age to be responsible with it. I just don't. I've seen too many friends and kids at my school die and kill others in alcohol-related car accidents. Making it legal for them to do that? I just can't get on board. I know it's backwards of me to think they can vote but not drink, but I don't really think anyone should be drinking. I mean, I know the majority of the people do do it responsibly, but there are plenty who don't. So I'm a prude. So sue me. My answer is no still.

Yes. I would support the court system. If she was found to be temporarily insane and declared innocent, she's innocent. But I would hope that she would get extensive counselling.

Nope. I nearly choked one day in 5th grade during snack time- couldn't breathe or speak or anything but I could reach down and pull food out and could breathe again after that. And I managed to do it without people noticing and making me embarrassed, which was the most important part for me ;-)

I do. It's an $8 watch from Walmart. It's got a silver metal band (LEATHER IS BAD!) a blue face (my favorite color) and actual numbers (because I can't figure out the time in less than 5 minutes if there are no numbers or if there are roman numerals). I only take it off during the shower.

Not a thing. Not even my ears. Just never had a desire to do it.
Do you have any tattoos?
Nope. I form keyloids so probably tats would be a bad idea. Even if not, I'd never be able to decide what to get. I'm way too in love with too much and I'm way too indecisive.

No. I put up with it all the time but given pain and no pain, I'll take no pain, thank you very much.

Um. Maybe piano, because it would have made my grandmother happy.

Hell if I know! Not like anyone's reading this! heehee
No, really, I like sharing my thoughts and having a place to record my thoughts, stories, events, etc. I have an awful memory so if I don't write it down, I'll forget it.
Do you have any prejudices you're willing to acknowledge?
Yeah. I genuinely feel the need to immediately dislike someone just because they've admitted they're conservative and/or a republican. Same goes for southern baptists and Christians who constantly talk about their Christianity.
What's the longest time you've stayed out of the country/where?
Either my 8 day trip to Scotland/Ireland or one of my trips to see family up in Canada- can't remember how many days we spent there but probably close to 8 or over 8.

No, really, I like sharing my thoughts and having a place to record my thoughts, stories, events, etc. I have an awful memory so if I don't write it down, I'll forget it.
Do you have any prejudices you're willing to acknowledge?
Yeah. I genuinely feel the need to immediately dislike someone just because they've admitted they're conservative and/or a republican. Same goes for southern baptists and Christians who constantly talk about their Christianity.
What's the longest time you've stayed out of the country/where?
Either my 8 day trip to Scotland/Ireland or one of my trips to see family up in Canada- can't remember how many days we spent there but probably close to 8 or over 8.

15. Do you use umbrellas? Nope. My hair looks better when it's wet. I prefer my rain jacket to keep my clothes dry and I can put up the hood if the rain gets too bad.

I think so. *sings* I can't remember the line between "we see thee rise" and "From far and wide" *looks it up* Ah. it's "The True North strong and free!" Yeah. So no. In not buy any more leather (I'm not getting rid of the stuff I already have because I just hate the idea of throwing perfectly good purse and shoes away...waste not, want not), I have a feeling that watches may end up being the exception, although I'm hoping that this one will last or that they can come up with a decent plastic or cloth alternative that still allows me to look like a professional thanks to that damn nickel allergy meaning I can't wear the metal bands. And all the other ones make me look like I'm 5. Which sucks.
Le sigh. I so need to get back on the Veggie path again. I kinda feel off it back when I got so stressed that I wasn't eating anything and got a huge lecture from doc about that so I started allowing meat. But once school startts, back to Veggie life because how am I supposed to advocate healthy living if I don't do it. Exactly right there.
