LJ is being slow for me tonight, for whatever reason.
Just downloaded and watched X2- HORRIBLE picture, but was the only file I could find that was the right movie and would download for me. I still really want to see it in theaters multiple times and will certainly be buying on DVD *G*
***MILD X2 SPOILERS***
Anyway... wow... I really liked :-) There were some, er, parts that could have used a little more work. It felt like they breezed through a lot of really important moments... ex- suddenly the chica following Stryker around is like Wolverine, quick fight, she's dead. I mean, really... I take a liiiiiiiittle more development with my action, thank you. But aside from not being able to be a longer movie with more involved scenes... I really liked :-)
And Kurt! Ooohhhh not so fuzzy (at least, not on my comp screen he wasn't) but what an adorable little elf!!!!! Yes, I must write a Nightcrawler fic or two... he's just too irresistable, that one! Logan and Scott were great- I missed their interplay from the first movie :-( But their battle over Jean was a nice continuance. Even if Jean... well... she is the Phoenix, after all. If they make another movie, I bet she'll be back ;-) I didn't cry much... but Scott was SO sweet... wanted to hug and cuddle him!
But I loved Rogue and Bobby!! They were adorable together! And yeah... young Iceman's much cuter than orig tv series Iceman :-)
But above all, I was a sqealing happy fan girl at Peter Wingfield's FOUR lines!!! A whole FOUR! I had guessed he would get 3! I think they had him read 5 for the audition. LOL But he was truly adorable. Though FunnyFakeAmericanAccent!Peter isn't as cute as SexyNormalBrittishAccent!Peter :-) Still... that face... Mmmmmmmmmmmmmerowl!!!!! I really want to see this in theaters, now that I know when and where to look for the lad. Man... SO cute! Makes my day, it really, really does :-)
Lovely movie... I really enjoyed it. *cuddles Logan for his kindness and newly-developing moral code* I really adored the raid on the school scene- Wolvie kicking butt to protect all the little ones- that was fabulous.
