I spent many many hours cleaning yesterday. And I got to say... it kinda looks good. My place is about a third of the way clean... completely clean rooms totally freak me out, so it'll never be 100% clean if I'm to live there... but it looks good. Effort paid off.

So Mom took the Sugar kitty to the cardiologist's again today. They suspect she has Supraventricular tachycardia and then there was something about her accessory pathway that I can't remember (I wasn't at the vet, just got the phone call from Mom trying to explain). They gave us medicine to try. But it's Monday and she's not dead. She's cuddly and has her perky moments, but she's not at her absolute best. She's sleeping a lot but, hey, she's a cat. And she seems really happy (she's been down here watching the birds out of the window a lot more than usual). So we're just going to keep an eye on her and rush her off for more tests the next time she has another attack/incident. We're making sure she stays warm (no going out on the screen porch, slipping heating pads under her bed).

All righty. I'm off to try to write a penalty drabble!

Glad to hear that Sugar is hanging in there. I'll keep my fingers crossed for her.
I totally snickered at the 'sleeping, but she's a cat' comment though...too true!

Yummy penalty drabble! I loved the excuses, and then how quick Ron was to drop the facade when he realizes he can take a break.
