Halloween at Strokes
Oct. 31st, 2008 11:22 pmHere's my newest Strokes fic!
It's what I think of as the Strokes Halloween special. It's entitled 'Many Happy Returns' aka Halloween. It's rated PG-13 for occasional language and mentions of sex. It stars Sin, cause I love the boy. It's set during the Fall of 2006 (BOY I'm behind with their timeline!) a month or so after Sin comes to live at the mansion.

This one's been in the works for a LONG time. A few years, actually. But with a little work, I finally have it done... at least in first draft. It could probably use a good editing, but I wanted to post it on Halloween anyway and I'm off to tackle NaNoWriMo again. Gay paranormal romance here I come! I am SO not ready!

Date: 2008-11-02 09:50 pm (UTC)I always enjoy reading a new chapter:) You capture the growing feelings of a new found love so perfectly. I loved Sin's fumbling and stammering; it made me want to fall in love all over again. [Remember those teenaged crushy feelings]
*sighs* I loved it!

Date: 2008-11-07 03:50 am (UTC)I'm glad you enjoyed this one. Poor Sin. Just getting used to life on his own/in the house and being able to sleep with whoever he wants... and he ends up falling for Trip *G* It's probably best he not get seriously involved with anyone yet, anyway. He's young. He's got time. Plus I've already written a story set in the fall of the next year where he... well, possibly finds someone else :-) Need to finish a few other stories before I post that one, though.

That was really a lot of fun to play with. And it's fun writing a story that doesn't have the typical happy ending.
