I'm feeling a bit stuck with Bunny #1 for the Annual Challenge. My attempt is 1.5 pages right now with a couple cute paragraphs and a nothing to tie the story together so I can't figure out how to just end it. Bah. But, on a good note, I finished my huge 40 page story for the challenge today! It has a few weak sections, too, but I'm mostly pretty proud of it. And I'm especially proud I finished it. *rejoices* If I finish this story today, I'm going to take down my Christmas decorations finally tonight. LOL So far I've written 5 fics for the challenge. I still want to write that George/Lee story that's bouncing around in my head. But I'm having a lot of fun working my way down the list and writing what inspires me.
I'm watching the All-Stars game now. Come on EAST! WTF? The West has totally taken over the game. Not far.
But at least Ovie did a great job last night in the skills competition. Bwahaha. He's such a character.
Tomorrow's the DADA meeting to discuss the first half of Half-Blood Prince, which I finished earreading last week.
Oh! I have a new hobby- as if I need another! It's called Markeroni. The idea is to "snarf" (visit/document/take pictures of) landmarks. So far I've snarfed 16. it's a lot of fun and I've visited a bunch of places near me that I usually just drive by. Now I have a mascot (Eeyore) that lives in my car (which I've named Love) permanently just in case I happen to come across a landmark.
Oh, I'm earreading Inkheart now. I HIGHLY recommend it on audio, read by Brendan Fraser. He is AMAZING with the voices and narration. I adore Jim Dale, I really do. But I think Brendan might be the very best narrator I've ever heard. Seriously. You've gotta get it out of the library and listen to it. It's going to be strange, though, now that I'm used to him reading ALL the roles in the book, to see him in the movie where he just plays one character. LOL But with Paul Bettany as Dustfinger... I don't really mind all that much. Squee!
