Not leaving a lot of time
Oct. 2nd, 2009 11:55 pmI like being busy. But sometimes even I realize I don't leave myself a lot of time to do everything that needs to be done. Friday was the board meeting for work- it happens twice a year. This year it was just fine, even though we had to stay all day (usually we go back to the office after lunch). I got up at 6am and got home a little before 9:30. Then I started and finished the book I want to release today. By the time I made a journal entry and registered it and made release notes on the book I'd released before the board meeting that morning, it was midnight. And I have to be up at 5:45 so I can get to the Metro for the first train into DC.
I'm seriously exhausted and would count on Sunday to rest, but I have to drive to Tysons to (I hope) buy a LEGO set on Saturday and on Sunday I have another zoo trip as that's the last day for the BookCrossing animal challenge and I have a few books left.
But one thing at a time. Sleep for a few hours. Then AIDS Walk Washington. Wish me luck!
