Time Flies

tarotgalMission accomplished at the zoo today. And then I stopped by a few places to catch some snarfs I'd passed other times. I got home around 3 and it took me ALL afternoon to process the 150-something photos from the past few days. I got about HALF of what I needed to do accomplished. Ugh. Isn't that always the way?
But I'll be in spot 6 at Markeroni after my snarfs from today are counted (WOW! Unexpected!)
And I loaded all the animal book photos for my BookCrossing release entries- 116 releases (and 6 catches so far). Awesome!
The zoo was great-- even after the 4th weekend in a row :-) I got to see the new baby gorilla again. This time, I got to watch her NURSING! I mean, seriously, that was amazing. Another highlight was the sloth bear who was right up against the glass of his enclosure. Only a few inches of glass separated me from it. And then it lifted its head, leaned back, and stuck his nose up in the air like he was basking in the sun. The guy standing on the other side actually said "He's so adorable!" I don't think I've ever heard a guy use that word. LOL But the bear definitely was.
Now I'm doing laundry and trying to clear space on my DVR before Monday (I have to record SO much on Mondays).
