Zoo! Ghosts! Firefly! Exclamations!

tarotgalNo, I'm not going to to zoo again (for the 5th week in a row). Today I got my official Friends of the National Zoo membership in the mail! Squee! It's so pretty and official-looking. I'm kind of thrilled.
Tomorrow I volunteer at the library. Then I'm chickening out of going to the monthly LEGO meetup. After I get over the fact that I'm a shy lurker, I'm heading to Washington DC to meet up with BookCrossers. We're going on a ghost tour in downtown together! I've never been on a local ghost tour (the only two I've been on were in Cape May, NJ and Edinburgh, Scotland). I've already got some spooky books set aside to release while on the walk. Ooohhhh! I know-- maybe I'll wear my anti-vampire shirt! I was planning on wearing it to the next Twilight movie though and wouldn't want to spoil the surprise ;-)
