tarotgalI'm still racked with guilt over the hundreds of fics I've promised y'all and have not delivered on. I'm actually pretty far ahead with a few more of them, but I wanted to reassure you that I haven't forgotten them!
But this year, I'm going to try something different in hopes that it will work. This year on my journal I'm planning on doing The 12 Days of Ficlets! Starting Christmas and continuing for the full 12 days, I'll post 1 a day. Which means that I've got 12 vacant slots.
So what do you need to do?
Be one of the first 12 to post a reply to this post on my IJ or my LJ!
In your post, tell me what fandom, pairing, situation, rating, and/or character you want me to write for you.
Limitations:
It's got to be original fic or a fandom I'm really familiar with. I can't do really obscure things that requires research & source material reviewing because I won't have time for that. I can't do elaborate situations either if I'm writing one every day. So keep your demands short and sweet (but as specific as you want within that scope).
If I reply and say I can't write what you want and I need you to pick another, you won't lose your "spot". But you need to suggest something the first time around.

Are you buying the Blu-Ray of HBP? I bought the Blu-Ray from Amazon.com and I hope it arrives before the big live watch-along they're doing from England on Saturday! I hope you can make it to the store :-)

And, yes, I'm about 3 years behind... but this is a fresh, guilt-free break. So let me do it free of guilt. Then, when the 12 days are up, I can go back to feeling guilty and behind :-)

We talked spoilers for a while and my coworker, who was very knowledgeable about the books even though she hasn't read them, later asked me "So, does Jacob every find love?" and I replied "Yeah. With Renesmee. Remember how we were talking about that?" to which she said "Whoa. Wait wait. That's what imprinting is?" It's tough to discuss the complicatedness that is imprinting without making Jacob sound like a total pervert, I learned. But, hey, serves him right for being so hot and making me feel like a perv during the last movie. LOL

Do you have names picked out? My pregnant coworker refuses to tell us the names she & her husband like because she doesn't want anyone commenting on them/complaining about them and clouding her opinions of them after they worked so hard to choose them.
Okay. Um, yeah. Torchwood and sick!Jack. Can do! Now I just need to figure out what "very naughty" means as it applies to Captain Jack Harkness... ;-)

Even though Captain Sawyer is, like, my least favorite character in the series *shakes fist at him* I've pushed him myself without a second thought if I'd been there.

And I promised myself that I wouldn't be one of the writers that leaves work unfinished. Sigh. Such is life.

Sadly, I'm not a... what are they called? Gleeks? At least not yet. I intend to watch it, I really do. I just haven't made it there yet and probably won't have the time to do so before I have to write this. I wouldn't want to let you down by promising Glee-goodness and not being able to deliver.
But I can absolutely handle Kurt or Spander (of course I'm still into Buffy-- my fandoms remain fandoms, even after many years and many additions). Which would you prefer if you had to choose? Or should I just let the muses decide when I sit down to write? Though... if I had to choose for you... I'd do Spander because then I can set it during Season 8 when the headquarters is in Scotland *EG*

Btw, I was thinking that if it is any easier on you, Wesley doesn't necessarily has to be the one sneezing, Buttercup would be fine too. I sort of automatically assumed while typing the request that Wesley would be the logical choice, dunno why. Still prefer non-cold causes (not necessarily allergies), but other from that, I will leave it entirely up to you. *waits full of anticipation*
Guess the only thing left is to wish you a lot of fun writing the 12 fics :)
