Guess whose copy of Mockingjay just arrived in the mail? SQUEEEEEEE! I promise, no spoilers from me. But SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! I'm totally Team Katniss :-)

Sorry for the lack of posts lately. Hope you've been following my travel blog and my LEGO blog if you've been wondering what I've been up to. It's been lots of crazy fun lately. LEGO convention followed by BookCrossing UnConvention followed by a day trip to Luray Caverns followed by a day of playing games and doing a school supply drive for charity. I have to drop the school supplies off today, actually, when the center opens at 7.

I've already started reading Mockingjay but I think I'm going to put it down and work on some Markeroni snarfs for the next half an hour. There was an issue in the database and we have to re-log some that we did back in October. So I'm going to get that out of the way. I still have all my markers from Salem, a few handfulls from Boston, and all from my Luray trip still to log in the system and I'm steadily approaching 2000 snarfs, which I should reach by the end of the year, with any luck.

I've been obsessed with NCIS lately... have I mentioned that? heehee I'm up to Season 5 now and debating buying season 7 now vs. waiting for the price to go down after a year or two. I might wait for a sale. Seems the best course of action. But I've got 3 NCIS stories going right now (well, one is technically done, I'm just nervous about posting it, so I'm waiting and editing in the meantime). I've also got all my fics for hc_bingo worked out:

My trip down into the caverns at Luray was very inspirational. I can't wait to write another fic with them in a cave now!

Speaking of writing... has anyone been following the informative-slash-heated-slash-crazy-slash-hurtful-slash-awesome debate over women who write male/male stories? Someone called it "Our big gay M/M kerfuffle" which is possibly the best title ever. LOL Here are some linky links:

On a completely related note, I feel like I should really write more femslash. Maybe I would if I were good at it. LOL At Infinitus one of the people on the slash panel said her archive was desperate for femslash and it got me thinking (not to submit, necessarily because I'm not really interested in having my stuff all over the place, but just because it got me thinking in ways I haven't for a while). Maybe I should table the idea until AFTER the Hermione discussion with the meetup group tomorrow after work, just so nothing embarrassing comes out in mixed company LOL
