Shirts & Awesome Days

But in September I'm going to wear a different Woot Shirt every day. Kinda excited about that project *G* I need to update my 101 Goals in 1001 Days journal before that, though.
I had a great weekend. On Saturday I volunteered at the library and then made a final pass through the children's and young adult book sale (my biggest weakness in life is candy; second is school supplies; third is children's and young adult books). They were throwing out a bunch of books and so I took them all with me to the Book Thing. I picked up a friend in DC and we headed to Baltimore for an afternoon of stocking up on hundreds of free books. Then we went to her place to eat, register books, and talk about the Convention shirts. OMG I'm going to go broke buying shirts *G*
Today was one of the very best days I've had in a long time. I woke up at 9, ordered myself to go back to sleep, and slept until 11:30. Then I rolled over, grabbed Mockingjay and read for an hour, until my tummy reminded me it hadn't had any love yet. So I ate and watched NCIS (finished Season 5) and caught up on logging snarfs. When I got sleepy, I went and took a nap. Then I read more Mockingjay and cuddled with my kitty. Then I played around a bit, did some laundry, and logged more snarfs while getting caught up on Mad Men. I ate dinner, started NCIS Season 6, read a graphic novel and started another one, finished the bulk of logging snarfs, and finished my third load of laundry. What a great day. No pressure. No responsibility. Just relaxing in pajamas and having fun. I DESPERATELY needed one of these days. It's been WAY too long since my last one. As much as I love having a lot of awesome things going on in my life, sometimes I need a day where I don't have to do anything if I don't want to. If I'm sleepy, I go to sleep. If I'm hungry, I eat. If I don't want to get dressed all day, I don't. Ah. This is the life.
