Writing & Hornblower question

tarotgalSo, yeah, I'm doing NaNoWriMo again this year (NaNoRebel, really, as I'm writing a TON of different things). It's going all right, but could be better. This is what NaNoWriMo tweeted earlier today:

On a related note... I need help from someone who knows the Horatio Hornblower fandom better than I do. I need to know what book it was before Horatio got married to Maria (i.e. after the peace of Amiens when he was... was he decommissioned?). And I need to know what rank he, Bush, and Pellew were at that point in time. Maybe we don't know Pellew's, but I guess I could look that up in the man's real timeline? Can any of you brilliant fanboys/fangirls help me with this?
