melydia and I got very little writing done but I had a BLAST and really needed that. At the end of the night, though, I got to the end of a Sin story (much of the middle is unwritten still) and suddenly something happened that totally blew my mind. It was completely unexpected and wonderful and I'm SO excited about it... but I can't say what it is because this story takes place in the distant future and there are tongs of stories in-between you'd have to read for it to make sense. Ugh. I'm so behind. One step forward and two steps back.
Now I'm watching more Hornblower. "I have shared a berth with Lieutenant Bush, Major Côtard, and I considered it an honor." HOW had I forgotten that line existed? Squee!!!!
I know, I know. None of you who requested Hornblower fics wanted slash, and I'm writing gen, I promise (I'm being good). But, OMG, that line makes me all kinds of happy.
