Movies and stories...
May. 29th, 2003 06:16 amAs usual :-)
Watched 'Silence of the Lambs' over at boyfriend's tonight. His movie... which I bought him. heehee And just out of the blue he says "Would you like to go to see X-Men tomorrow?" EEEK! FINALLY! The cutie *G* Good lad.
Anyway, I watched 'Rob Roy' on DVD just now. Gods, I love that movie. Nothing, NOTHING, so wonderful as a Scottish man and his honor... and a wife who's got sense enough to ignore that when it needs to be. *G* Reminds me of my Robert and Chlora... hrm... thinking I should work more on my novels this weekend. It's been a while. But my style's changed and to rewrite passages I've edited a hundred times over and am married to... well... that's not going to happen. Maybe I'll just write from scratch and try to marry the two styles well enough to get by.
I was attempting to watch something while writing a new Oliver/Percy story that hit me hard in the butt yesterday and will not leave me alone even to sleep, damnit. But now I've got Mr.&Mrs.Weasley speaking in Scottish accents in my head, and Percy to follow, so I've decided no more movies with accents while I'm writing LOL Maybe a shower will clear the dialect out? Or maybe I should just watch the HP movies and get the English one back in? *G*
