Three Things

tarotgalThere were three things I should be doing today.
1. Going to look at houses. Somehow, I am very excited about finding a house, but unable to do so. My real estate agent is really not the best and our schedules don't often mesh. She didn't have time for me today and it's up to me to find places to see. Anyway, that was out of the question for today.
2. Driving up to Westminster for an impromptu-type BookCrossing meetup at an OBCZ a friend runs. I've spent a lot of time driving lately (Baltimore last week) and I missed the last BookCrossing meetup and had to leave early last time I was up there. But much as I wanted to BE there and maybe snarf along the way, a long trip just wasn't in me today.
3. Going to the zoo to release animal books. Every September I release animal books for a BookCrossing challenge at the zoo. It's SO much fun and I need to go to the zoo anyway. And this might be the only Sunday I will be able to do it this month. But when it came down to it, I didn't have any books registered and didn't feel like waking up bloody early to get a parking spot at the zoo.
So what did I do instead of the three things? I went to bed BEFORE MIDNIGHT (for the first time in I can remember). I was so exhausted and kept falling asleep in front of Stargate SG-1 episodes. I slept for 11 hours, woke up, and stayed in bed an hour and a half reading Thirteen Little Blue Envelopes. Best way to spend a morning *G* I'm happy with my decision.
Also, technically, I've been holding onto this secret desire to clean today so that I'll be able to walk through my room again. So I've got something important to do. But not until after I eat. Hungry now...
