tarotgalSo... yeah. It didn't take me long to submit to my fanfic-reading urges once I finally got a little Stargate Atlantis properly watched. And it certainly didn't take me long to give into my fanfic-writing urges either. Yesterday I started a Xanthe BDSM collared-verse Rodney/John sneezefic. Mmmm. You knew it had to happen, right?

My favorite song in the whole world at this very moment is Grace Kendall's "This is My Bliss." The song always makes me tear up (especially when I see her sing it live) but in a good way. It's so beautiful and inspirational. Her whole new album is freakin awesome, though. I think I need a "This is My Bliss" LJ user icon.

Whenever I feel like shit, I have to watch the Hey Jude sing-along. It makes me cry to see so many different people brought together and smiling during such a simple thing. It renews my faith in humanity. And then I wind up watching all sorts of improv sketches that make me stop crying and start laughing and I feel better again.
