I wish I watched Supernatural. So many fun things seem to happen with that fandom, so many nummy fics. I feel like no matter how many shows I assign myself to watch, I can never get to that point where I've seen everything I want to see. My list of "must watch this show!" grows longer and longer every year. It's not fair! Why don't they stop making cool shows so I have time to catch up? Just like books. Why can't authors just stop writing so I have time to read everything and catch up?

Then again, I'd need time to stop completely in order for me to do that. *sigh*

In other news, I've been finishing lots of books. In the past 9 days, I've finished 4 books. And I've reviewed... er... none of them on my book blog. So, just like that, I'm behind again. DOH!

melydia gave me a fluffy stuffed plot bunny tonight. SQUEE! *snuggles* I fear what will happen if I let it out of my sight, so I'm going to have to find a place for it on the writing shelf of my desk next to Hawthorne, the beanie baby, and the plushie cold virus. What is my life LIKE? LOL

Oh gosh. Stop tempting me! I've never even watched more than 5 minutes of the show and I've read a dozen of mad-server's fics *blush* But, guh, look at all these sneezy fics. How do I get this to happen with every single fandom I'm in love with?

I would say there are a few key elements to SPN fandom.

1) Ackles and Padalecki: Absurdly good looking, and just different enough that at least ONE of them appeals to almost anyone who likes men.

2) Actual onscreen whump. They sometimes even carry over injuries from one episode to the next. (And then there was the broken wrist, but that wasn't exactly scripted.)

3) Pair of male main characters who really have been together their whole lives. The relationship has so many LEVELS to explore.

I'm not sure how to duplicate that sort of situation in other fandoms.

Only got into it this past Spring and have watched all five seasons [just picked up the sixth today;)]...all all because of the glorious mad-server! Gotta love a fandom with soo much hurt/comfort godness...
