National Book Festival
Sep. 24th, 2011 11:53 pmMy day turned out great. The National Book Festival was wonderful. It had a different feel to it this year, but I can't quite describe it. Maybe more organized and relaxed and fun?
States only seemed to want to give free things out to children or teachers. Cassandra Clare's answer in regards to Harry Potter was sad-making. Gregory Maguire was not nearly as crazy as one ad hinted at. Michael Cunningham's choice to read from WIPs from now on rocked my world. The BookCrossers and Library Thingers found each other. I still don't like the Tiger Mom. And Brian Selznick is my new hero. Seriously.
Also, I'm EXHAUSTED.
