Yay, finally got a chance to sit down and savor this with no interruptions! Definitely worth the wait, as it was utterly engrossing. Thranduil, you should be ashamed of yourself! Haha, like he'd care what I think. Legolas needs to give him a good lecture on how to treat a Hero and Fellowship member, dwarf and all.

This fic was just charming, start to finish. I love that Legolas being ill is some kind of crisis in the palace. All the people in and out would drive me batty! And the room done totally in wall-to-wall green cracked me up! Someone really loves running with a theme there. *G*

Yay, you got the kitty in there! Hehe, fat cat that owns the place - sounds kinda like my Eowyn-kitty. She's getting a bit round lately, and she definitely goes where she pleases. :)

I adore that Gimli got his guards out of the way essentially the same way Bilbo did - wine! Ah, wood-elves. Can't say I blame them much.

LOVE LOVE LOVE the payoff in the end. All the classic things I love so much about your Legolas/Gimli fics were there: the glorious build-ups, the stuffy talk (no one does it like you!), the adorable twitching pointy ears, so very enjoyable. I didn't realize how much I'd missed them until I was reading them again. *happy sigh*
