Stupid UK Trip! HELP!

AH! I think I have waited too long to figure out all my travel plans. I'm SO in a panic. I don't know if I can buy a BritRail pass at this point. I leave in 9 business days and it says it could take up to 15 business days to get to me. Shit. I'm freaking out.

Also, still have NO idea how to get from Dublin to the Lake District. Plane + train? What airport?

Is there anyone in the UK who can be of help? Meep?

Our rail system is a nightmare & very confusing for those of us who live here so I'm not surprised it's stressing you out.

I can have a look tonight after work but I think Dublin to Lake District could be done with a flight from Dublin to Blackpool and then train to Lake District or by ferry from Dublin to liverpool and then train.
