Finished my site redesign... and Fateback STILL has not gotten back to me about my registering for an account. Nearly 24 hours now... that's not right... grrr! *whines*
I think for TG's Realm I'm going to rotate material. I simply do not have enough space to put everything up at the same time. So I'm going to rotate what's on/offline. I think that's the easiest and fairest way to do it.
If I tried that for TOS, there wouldn't be much online at one time, I'm afraid. So I don't know what to do about that.
Number of e-mails today complaining that the wavs and/or movies on my site(s) are not working (no shit): 8
Number of times I've checked e-mail today hoping for a fateback account e-mail: 27

Re:
Date: 2003-06-07 06:57 am (UTC)I'm currently using Buildpage becuase they have unlimied space, but they recently kicked off all sound and movie files- which is half of my site. So I'm trying to move. For a little site, I'd say stick with geocities- I've honestly never had a problem with them... apart from the bandwidth limits and the side pop-ups... and the little amount of space.
Check out my post a few days ago about free website hosts. There are some links there you might find useful. I've used internations- they were ok but they kept going down as well(bandwidth) which is why I moved to buildpage.
thanks

FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol. Thus, is a protocol/rule set which allows files to be transferred on the internet. An FTP client such as WS_FTP or CuteFTP allows you to upload a lot of files at one time very quickly, or transfer a lot of files and folders from one place to another online.
