SPN overload!
Oct. 1st, 2012 11:01 pmI am currently in six different Supernatural swaps on swap-bot. ATCs to Christmas ornaments to scavenger hunts to matchboxes... I'm so thrilled *G*
And on Saturday I'm going to a local geek group (a group full of complete strangers, though one friend said she's going... even though she hasn't RSVPed yes yet). They choose a fandom every month and watch 10 episodes from the series then get together and discuss it. Saturday is SPN. I'm going to walk in wearing an SPN shirt and plop a big bag of peanut M&Ms on the table *EG* The hard part will be not talking about anything that happens after season 1, but I've re-watched all the 10 episodes from season 1 they chose... they're sort of the bare bones brothers & John episodes. Not a bad selection at all. Can't wait to talk SPN with people IRL. Though I think I'll probably prefer talking SPN with y'all online. Hurt/comfort and wincest... y'all understand my loves, don't you?
On Sunday, I'm going to the Maryland Ren Faire with my Harry Potter group. That'll be fun.
And on Monday... I get to be a real boss. My part-time employee starts on Monday. I'm very excited to get to work with her.
On DW news... I cried ALL THE TEARS at the end of the last episode. Matt Smith said he expected people to tear up/have lumps in their throats. I made it through the sad parts of the episode no problem and thought there must be something wrong with me, because I cry at everything. But then, at the end, I COMPLETELY LOST IT. I cried so hard and so loud for so long. Not as sad as the end of Season 2 or the end of Season 4. But I was still heartbroken. A beautiful episode. I couldn't have asked for more. Can't wait until Christmas now!
