tarotgalI'm almost done with season 5... have 4 more episodes to watch until... until... Meridian... I know I'm going to cry... I've seen a few fanvids unintentionally and I cried at those... ug... Just downloaded one, for example, to 'My Immortal' which I think is a brilliant song to use for Daniel/Jack and that particular, um, leaving situation- which I've thus far avoided learning about. At any rate, I taped last Friday's episode so when I finally get caught up I can watch the new ones... still, I'm not looking forward to Daniel going... he gets hurt, too, doesn't he? Ug... this is going to be painful for me... *deep breath*
I'm REALLY in love with this show. The universal themes, the character development, the struggle, the humor- it is FANTASTIC on all levels. I'm really impressed. I think I never got into it before because I never saw the first few seasons and jumped into the middle having no idea who the Tok'ra were or where Teal'c came from, etc. It makes much more sense now :-) And I'm really impressed by it. I just re-watched 'Children of the Gods' yesterday... so it's interesting to see how the characters have stayed the same and still changed. And I have to admit, 'Wormhole X-treme' had me laughing my ass off... especially at the Daniel character. WAY too funny for me! :-)
