12 Days of Fandom Ornaments: #3

My Christmas tree is a mix of ornaments from my childhood and ones from later on in my life. Many of them are related to my favorite fandoms, naturally. I thought I would showcase one every other day in December in a 12 Days of Fandom Ornaments series.

Day 3: Gandalf the Grey

Another Hallmark Ornament, this one from 2005, shows one of my favorite characters in the Lord of the Rings. How excited am I about the new Hobbit movie? So excited that Gandalf is near the top of my tree, wisely looking over it. heehee I bought this one for myself.

So, first of all, I love your Jayne hat ornament. But also, when you posted that Eeyore one the other day, I saw Gandalf's foot in the top corner, but I thought for some reason that it might be too geeky to recognize a character from just his foot, so I didn't say anything. Turns out I was right and it WAS him! :)

Haha! Clever you! I am impressed :-)

And thanks. I really like my tree. It's such a shame to take it down after Christmas. There was that year I kept it up all year and redecorated for each holiday, but I do also like having free space in the living room, so I guess taking it down is a good sacrifice in the end.
