tarotgalI've just got two more Stargate season 6 episodes to watch (7 and 8, I believe they are) and then I'm all ready to watch my video tapes with season 7! *G* I taped it again tonight... but hopefully by next week I'll be able to watch the new episode as it comes out, rather than on a delay. Feels NICE to be caught up!
And I didn't feel as sad as I thought I would during season 6. I love Jonas... he's a very neat addition to the mix- especially his relationship with Teal'c (as another alien) and Jack (as a replacement) and how that goes beyond during the season. But Daniel was here and there... Abyss made me cry SO hard for Jack. And the way Sam cried because Jack was lost and Teal'c comforted her just sent me sobbing. That was SO sweet.
And Changling was phenominal... Christopher comes up with the neatest ideas for Teal'c. His range in the episode, especially, was wonderful to see. But I was even more really impressed at the concept and nobiliy of Teal'c's character. *sigh* I really didn't know what I'd think of it because I hate when things are unconventional or different (especially when a character death is involved), but I think season 6 is my favorite yet! And Daniel was there in spirit if not in person so many times, anyway. That made me feel good.
Actually, as much as I want him to return... I think I'd rather he stay Ascended... He's played with death SO many times... I think it would cheapen the experience for me if he suddenly got demoted back to human again. "Oh, that was a nice stint as a powerful being of energy, hey, I'm back!" I dunno. The show never fails to impress me... Jack's humor, Teal'c's development, Sam's incredible breadth of knowledge and experiences.... I'm very glad I forced myself to take on another obsession :-) I really love the show.
