Date: 2014-07-04 04:37 pm (UTC)I do the background first (3.5" x 2.5") and find quotes the character has said. If I'm feeling creative, I put something unique in-between each quote (in this case, an American eagle). The other elements are printed out separately. I carefully cut around them (circular shield: easy! non-circular Steve: harder!). The smaller elements I gluestick or tape directly onto the card (artistic arrangement is less important to me than covering up my favorite quotes, so sometimes the placement is better than other times). Then I cut out the larger image. I use mounting tape positioned in placed around and in the middle of the image, so it pops out a bit from the card.

Date: 2014-07-05 07:11 am (UTC)I just bought a pack of scrapbooking/craft adhesives and some pop up dots were included. I have used them for scrapbooking in the past but I think they would be neat to use them like you did, with cards. Hmmm...There are so many crafts I want to do but no time.
