Poor Sammy's got bad luck, but at least he's got a Dean to look after him :-) This was so much fun to write! I hope you like it! (Warning: this story contains no adorable turtles)

Date: 2014-12-28 08:49 pm (UTC)Thank you so much for this. I loved it! Dean's voice was great (“No. I got you a big ol’ pine tree. And apparently you’re allergic as hell to it. Merry Christmas!"), and poor Sam with his desperate sneezing fits. I love the image of him sitting out there on the steps, with the sleeping bag wrapped around him, trying to stay warm while Dean gets rid of the tree.
I love that Sam has this established dust allergy that Dean tries to keep under control. The image of Dean going all mother hen and cleaning the apartment from top to bottom as soon as they move in is just great. And then Dean's determination to get rid of the tree and find a fake one that doesn't make Sam sneeze. So cute.
The blue tie! That is definitely close enough! :D
And I would very much like a Winchester Christmas card. I'm trying to figure out who they would write cards to, and I keep imagining Sam going through all the still-alive people they know, hunting down addresses and trying to compile a big enough list. ("Remember that one woman we saved from a nest of vampires? We should send her a card.")
This was the perfect post-Christmas gift. Thank you for writing these. They're so much fun to read!

I also loved how happy Sam was when it turned out that he wasn't actually sick, and the whole end bit where Dean isn't gonna wait on him. And your description of his allergies was so hot! The way everytime he took a breath his nose tickled more - guh!
There were so many awesome references to Sam's dust allergy as well, I enjoyed imagining it cropping up during the trials, and in their Dad's storage locker, and when Sam was under his bed.
Just... yum! All of it - yum! And the boys are adorable together as always. Such a brilliant story!
