I woke up at 7:30 this morning (having gone to bed around 2) to find it was SNOWING! I checked the website and we weren't opening until 10. YES! More sleep! I slept until 9 then woke up and started to get dressed. Then I checked the website again and we weren't opening until noon. YES! More sleep! I slept until 10:30 and then got up. Still opening at noon. I got dressed. Still opening at noon. I had breakfast. Still opening at noon. I went out and cleaned off my car, got my lunch ready, and packed dry shoes and socks to change into at work. And I checked the website one last time. CLOSED! So now I'm all ready to go out and it's a SNOW DAY! SQUEE!

Which means a quick snow drabble of some sort and then lots of cleaning and writing!

Apparently cleaning off the car is what did it. I should have gotten up and cleaned off the car first so I didn't have to go through all that waiting. LOL Oh well. I think I still have library volunteering tonight, so my car is cleaned off and ready for that. And I'm dressed. Which is also good :-)

You are so unbelievably lucky you get to have the possibility of snow days!

I actually just caved in and bought an SUV this past week, because I can't ever stay home from my job due to snow, and I'm tired of getting stuck like I did several times last winter.
