Listened to HP3 in the car on the way to and from Walmart again tonight with my boyfriend. My favorite part in the chapters tonight:

Ron: Why couldn't Black have hidden in Snape's office, eh? He could have finished him off for us.

My usual response(yelled): He would have!!

My boyfriend's response tonight: Because they're in it together!

*snort* It's too cute. I can't wait for the shack scene *G* What a lovely book this is when you don't know what's going on. I almost wish I'd experienced it like that for the first time. But then again, I wouldn't trade my preconceived slash notions for anything *G*
ANd really, I've forgiven Snape... honestly, assuming Dumbledore doesn't turn evil, I trust his judgement and if Albus says the man is all right, I believe him.

Dumbledore IS going to be evil. I predict it. And I've been telling ALL the Potterheads around her that. Usually they give me strange looks. But I've actually managed to convince a few. Hehe.

But he's going to be evil. Mark my words.

I'm with you there. I'm in the 'Dumbledore Is Evil' camp as well, if only for what he did to MWPP/L before James and Lily were killed. It seems (IMO, anyway) as if he deliberately sowed the seeds of discord among them all by talking of his suspicions of a spy. And then, he just left Sirius to rot in Azkaban... He had to have known Sirius was innocent. Otherwise, why would he forgive him so quickly at the end of PoA, without the evidence that at least Lupin had? (Large 'Dumbledore Is Evil' rant, shortened.)

On the other hand, I don't think Snape is evil. He's just a petty, bitter, misguided manchild. But he's still an awesome character regardless.
