OK... so I ended up watching episodes 6 through 9 of the Gluhen and then rewatching the beginning of the OAV... heehee. Tis difficult to get work done and watch at same time, since it requires me to read along with the subtitles all the time. So tomorrow I'm going to have to double my efforts as far as work goes. Ah well. Twas worth it. That show is just WAY too addictive! I just start really getting into an episode and it ends. So I just have to watch the next! heehee
OK... so then I spent some time reading someone's three Weiss Kreuz sneezefics *G* I think it's probably my third or fourth reading of them... and I think I finally "feel" the characters well to really understand and enjoy the stories a great deal. So thank you... again ;-) Especially 'Gentian Rain' *G*
TERRIBLE plot bunnies are bombarding me as we speak :-) One day I WOULD like to write a fic or two with them... possibly/hopefully a sneezefic... but we shall see what happens. Too many unfinished stories as is! :-)
But those boys! And Ken! Oh, and Omi- I swear, if he picks up that darling little picture of the 4 of them one more time I'm going to cry! And Aya... Mmmmm... that boy is too gorgeous in glasses. And naked Youji! Who's complaining?! He's not smoking as much either... which is a plus for me. And Ken... :-) Yeah, I am well aware I stopped watching right before episode 10 in which there's a "good" Ken/Omi scene... it's something to look forward to after I get more work done *G* Yummy Weiss boys motivation!
Yeah, yeah... I'm rambling like a fangirl... I'll cut it out soon, I promise :-)

Date: 2003-07-06 12:34 pm (UTC)I'm glad you liked the fics... *blush* Though I must say, Traprose's fic is much better than mine... I'm not really a Schwartz fan, but she does the characters quite well.
I do hope you'll write Weiss, as a sneezefic or not. I'd love to read other folks' takes on the series. And if we can corrupt others to Ken/Omi, the more the merrier! :) Maybe that Ken/Omi scene in episode 10 will inspire you... I know it's inspired me (though not for sneezefic..). >:
more thoughts...
Date: 2003-07-06 01:03 pm (UTC)I actualy re-read traprose's fic this morning... I'm not a huge Schwartz fan either(I find it more difficult to pull for both teams as they try to kill each other... easier just to have the good/evil line drawn) but Crawford IS difficult to resist- those eyes... that hair... that sexy neat and pressed suit. Especially sneezing. Not to mention that the concept is brilliant *G*
As for Aya and the teacher- you mean the one he buys the planner for and she ends up being killed? I really liked their gradual interaction from the start as it built up. It's very interesting to watch Aya, coming from the persective of the first series... he didn't exactly get a lot of the girls back then (of course, that was his choice as he was a bit preoccupied with his sister). He's got this undercover gig and is just using his position to find out more, or offer himself up as a lure (assuming he's been compromised). And yet, he still genuinely seems to care about teaching a bit- and about her& her passions. He actually seems to want to know why she wants to be a teacher and inspire... and Aya still seems like the sort of person to me who wouldn't bother going out on a weekend to do something dealing with his fake job unless he really wanted to.
And I know that the whole point of the lads is that they don't think they're really "worthy" of love... and that they've been hurt so much they find it hard even when love finds them. But damnit, does eveyone they fall in love with have to die?! OK, so arguably I suppose not ALL of them die (some just move to Australia) but deep down the boys aren't at all as bad and unworthy as they think they are(Did I mention I'm tres worried about Youji right now?). Ah well, maybe it's just a sign that they have to look inside their ranks for love *G*
