AO3 Kudos Meme

Saw this on tifaching's LJ most recently and some other LJs in the past and it looked like fun. I'm having a crappy day physically, so I needed some fun :-)

Here are my top 10 fics according to Kudos on AO3 (out of the 444 I currently have up there):

1. Touch Starvation (691 Kudos, 10997 Hits) Marvel CMU, Tony/literally everybody in various combinations and all at once, hurt/comfort. 2,376 words. The Avengers figure out Tony secretly likes being cuddled. Written for the avengerkink community.
   


2. With His Back to the Wall (249 Kudos, 6552 Hits) NCIS, Gibbs/DiNozzo, former abuse, angst & comfort. 2,087 words. DiNozzo doesn't like to cuddle after sex. Gibbs wants to know why. Written for a WWOMB prompt. There's a word in there I keep meaning to change, but otherwise, this is one of my favorites.
   


3. Bouncing Pogo Sticks (148 Kudos, 2276 Hits) Supernatural, Hogwarts AU, Dean/Castiel, hurt/comfort sickfic. Dean isn't feeling well and wants a certain someone to notice. I had so much fun with this piece; I need more inspiration to write in this AU!
   


4. Cherishing (104 Kudos, 6427 Hits) Lord of the Rings, Legolas/Gimli, hurt/comfort grief & sickfic. 21,311 words. Just following Gandalf's fall, the Fellowship set out for refuge in Lorien. Legolas, overcome with grief he must repress, falls ill and depressed and attempts to survive the only ways he knows how. Actually, this is one of my absolute favorites, despite the translations being rough/incorrect at times.
   


5. Blush (99 Kudos, 2322 Hits) Marvel CMU, Clint/Coulson, pr0n. 545 words. Clint wants to make Coulson blush. Written for Porn Battle XIV based on these prompts: dirty, phone sex, professional, boss.
   


6. Rule 18 (97 Kudos, 3295 Hits) NCIS, Xanthe's BDSM Collarverse, Gibbs/DiNozzo, hurt/comfort, BDSM. 2,065 words. Tony has just emerged from a freezing cold river, but he doesn’t care about his own health as much as he cares about Gibbs’. I adore Xanthe's universe and appreciate her letting other writers play in it a little from time to time. Writing Tony so single-mindedly focused on Gibbs is so much fun.
   


7. Falling for It (90 Kudos, 4070 Hits) NCIS, hurt/comfort sickfic. 7,758 words.Tony and Gibbs are on a stakeout. Tony doesn't feel so good. This fic has a special place in my heart, even though it's weird. I had meant it to be a oneshot, but people wanted more. And then more. And then it started changing tenses and became a mini-casefic. Weird, but I kind of love it like Frankenstein's monster.
   


8. Bathing Later (88 Kudos, 3857 Hits) Lord of the Rings, Legolas/Gimli, pr0n. 1,991 words. Add one tired swarf and one sexy elf to a hot sping and stir rapidly. I really dig some of the descriptions I came up with in this one. I thought it was pretty damn hot at the time.
   


9. Collared (80 Kudos, 3835 Hits) Harry Potter, Remus/Sirius and Remus/Severus (and some Remus/other thrown in), hurt/comfort, collaring, rentboy!Remus with a touch of dubcon and angst/grief. 36,451 words. Unable to make ends meet after the war, Remus submits himself to the Ministry's program for werewolves. Written for pervy_werewolf's Lusty Month of May 2010 and my favorite piece written for that community/fest. I'm proud of it and think I accomplished a lot in just one month! I am beyond thrilled people are still finding and reading it.
   


10. Point Blank (73 Kudos, 1762 Hits) Supernatural, Sam/John noncon child abuse, hurt/comfort. 1,152 words. Sam's been acting jittery during this visit to Bobby's. Written for a comment meme on ohsam. Possibly the fic I'm most proud of writing ever? I'm so happy it made the top 10. It was one of those fics that just flowed out the way I saw it in my head and needed very little fixing.

An interesting mix of fandoms and even a bit of a mix of genres (though you all know I mostly write the same stuff over and over again anyway LOL). A few of them surprised me, but as some are attached to collections or communities and have some pretty clear tags, I'm not stumped as to why they made this list.
