Getting sh*t done day!

tarotgalSo I've been kind of lazy this week. Okay, I've been REALLY lazy this week. I have justified it by saying that I had a freakin horribly busy last week, everything timed down to the second so that I could get home from Wincon, run inside, change, and run straight out to the Harry Potter Halloween party. And a trip in general takes me a little while to bounce back from. Also, I was at 99% full on my DVR and if I hadn't sat on the couch and watched some stuff for a few hours, it wouldn't have taped Supernatural. So... yeah. Justification. BUT... really I was just lazy.
So today was my getting shit done day. I finally posted a bunch of my monthly swaps on swap-bot, including a survey so people can choose their favorite fandoms. I got my blood drawn to see if I'm still as anemic as I was 7 weeks ago. I got my allergy shots. I went grocery shopping (and am cooking dinner as I type this). I put pumpkins out on my front stairs. I changed my front outside lightbulb, which works now! I changed my back outside lightbulb, which does not work. At all. Nor does the power outlet in the back of the house just below the light. I suspect they suffer from the same problem, but I am not an electrician. After dinner I plan to make a Walmart run as I'm running out of a few things that are cheaper there. Then I'm going to purchase/pick up cowboyguy's old fitbit thingy because my pedometer SUCKS and I'm never going to reach Mordor with it (it keeps resetting literally 5 times a day. So I look down one minute and see that I've walked 2,000 steps, and a few minutes later I'm down to 4 steps. GRRR! I'm fed up with it.) And then I'm going to see what I can do with this Star Wars fic I started writing, um, in 2004 (or possibly before that... 2004 might just have been the year I transferred it from the old computer). I think I wrote a pretty good ending to it the other night, so I just need to get my current point to the beginning of that ending and I'm golden.
Whew! I'm SO tired, but I'm motivated. Gotta keep going. Gotta get things done!
