12 Days of Ficlets/Fics Requests

It's that time of year again! Want a fic? I can't promise brilliance, but I'll do my best for you. The first spot is already taken by an online friend I keep mentioning giftfics to.

So what do you need to do?
Be one of the first 11 to post a reply to this post on my IJ or my LJ! Fill out this form with what you'd like--

Limitations:
It's got to be original character fic or a fandom I'm really familiar with. I can't do really obscure things that require research & extensive source material reviewing because I won't have time for that. I can't do elaborate situations either if I'm writing one for every day. So keep your requests short and sweet (but as specific as you want within that scope). Again, please don't expect brilliance from me :-) If I reply and say I just can't write what you want and I need you to pick something else, you won't lose your "spot". But you should suggest something else within a reasonable period of time.

Fandoms I'll Write:
Any fandom I've written for before is technically fair game, but I can tell you right now I'm going to struggle to write another fic in a couple of those fandoms. And I can assure you that if you request something slashy in one of my major fandoms (or Strokes) I will LOVE you for making it easy on me. Feel free to ask if I know a particular fandom.

Other Notes:
Because I've been asked this before, I'll answer it here before someone asks again: yes, lurkers are more than welcome to request (you can post with your name or anonymously; I don't mind, that's why I allow anon posting on my LJ).

Okay, finally came up with an idea (but let me know if you've done anything like this before and I can come up with another!).

I was initially envisioning teenchesters for this, but I'm open to other timeframes if your muse takes you that way.

It's Christmas, and they're both actually kind of looking forward to it this year. But a couple of days before, Dean comes down with pretty much the worst cold ever. The kind that makes you totally exhausted and unable to do much more than stay in bed and maybe get up to watch some TV every once in a while. Sam is disappointed that it's happening right at Christmas, but more importantly, he knows that Dean is disappointed, too. So he takes it upon himself to make it the best (and most cold-friendly) Christmas he can.

Lots of cuddles and brother bonding, sneezing buildups and exhausting fits and maybe a few stuck ones, anything with blankets, feeeeever is love. <3

Star Trek: Enterprise

Assigned to Earth about 3 years ago, T'Pol has found Humans to be unpredictable, emotional, and slightly smelly. However, after spending a month or so with the Enterprise crew,she has become somewhat fond of several of them, notably Archer, Tucker, and Hoshi.

As the story starts, the four of them are eating lunch in the captain's dining room. The pepper shaker tips over or something, and Hoshi sneezes a few times, maybe Trip and Archer too.

Vulcans don't sneeze. T'Pol is curious.

Characters and/or Pairings: I imagine this Sam/Cas, but I'd also be happy with gen if that worked better for you.

Sneezing specifications (which character/characters you want sneezing, illness/allergies, etc.): Sam, allergies (of course ;P)

Rating/Range of Ratings: Whatever works

What DO you want to see (be as brief or detailed as you like): Cas can't heal allergies, they know this because they have tried before. (Maybe it's something to do with it being caused by the person's own body, I dunno). But today Sam is really suffering. So Cas is going to try. Repeatedly. Enthusiastically. ...Sam really doesn't have the patience for this.


What do you NOT want to see (squicks, pairings, etc.): I don't like mess, apart from that I'm pretty much okay with anything.

smileyfacegirl again! Would you possibly be able to write a Star Wars ficlet about Anakin and Ahsoka (Master-padawan relationship, not pairing eww :P )? I know it's been a while and it's not your focus point of the fandom by any means, but the one Clone Wars fic you wrote for them a few years ago is amazing and exactly what I always wanted for that corner of the fandom xD; Movie Anakin kind of annoyed the hell out of me most of the time lol, but CW Anakin was so much more interesting and well developed and to this day I still love me some angsty h/c for him. :P If it's too difficult, I can come up with something else! But if you're willing to try, that would be really cool >////< I'd be happy to dig up some clips for you too if it'd help, since I'm thinking a story set in the latter half of the show after their look changed (and when Ahsoka got older and less of a brat. xD; )

I think I can handle that. I haven't watched some of the more recent CW series, but I'll do my best. Clips would definitely be useful if you have some good ones! I do love Ahsoka so much :-)

Fandom(or OC): Horatio Hornblower (what else?)

Characters and/or Pairings: Horatio, Archie, other characters from "The Duel" depending on how you want to do the prompt.

Sneezing specifications (which character/characters you want sneezing, illness/allergies, etc.): Horatio sneezing, cold.

Rating/Range of Ratings: G-Pg-13.

What DO you want to see (be as brief or detailed as you like): Shortly after being transferred to the Indefatigable (but before going off on the disastrous Marie Galante trip), Horatio comes down with a particularly sneezy cold. He does his best to be polite about it, but the sneezing, sniffling, and copious use of his handkerchief(s) is rather obvious. One day, he overhears someone jokingly referring to him as "Horatio Noseblower." Cue massive embarrassment from Horatio and reassurance from Archie that the nickname is not going to stick.

What do you NOT want to see (squicks, pairings, etc.): I'm pretty flexible on this one. Just don't get TOO descriptive when it comes to the mess Horatio's making. And make it a happy/fluffy/silly ending, please (though a certain amount of angst is all but expected).


EDIT: If Hornblower's one of the fandoms you might struggle with, feel free to push my request down to the bottom slot, or save it for next year.

Not one of the easiest fandoms to write, but definitely not a "struggle" fandom at all. So no worries. And I loooooooooooooooooove early series Hornblower. And Archie! Aw, my Midshipmen :-)

What DO you want to see (be as brief or detailed as you like): description of other symptoms, reluctance to admit illness, lost sneezes that return with a vengeance, stifled + desperate-for-reprieve fits, HITCHING, description of build up to sneeze, and !!sneeze interrupting speech!!
What do you NOT want to see (squicks, pairings, etc.): Steve/Bucky, extreme mess

Sounds do-able! Question: when you say Gen, do you mean G? I'm not sure how to write Gen (no pairing) with Steve/Tony (a pairing). The two contradict each other. Did you mean Gen Steve & Tony or G Steve/Tony?

Characters and/or Pairings: Open to whatever! Hopefully at least one male character, but really whatever gender works for me.

Sneezing specifications (which character/characters you want sneezing, illness/allergies, etc.): The louder the better, as always. And maybe something allergy-focused? And again, hopefully at least one male character? But whatever gender is cool.

Rating/Range of Ratings: Whatever!

What DO you want to see (be as brief or detailed as you like): Nothing specific---I would just love some loud sneezing superheroes por favor. And the more "crowd reaction" the better...

I've been watching a lot of Gotham, and in the last episode Ben's character wore a wifebeater and looked soooo Ryan-ish it made me squee :-)

Hi Simphonyflute! Bad news. I only JUST saw this comment. I don't know how I missed it. Gah. I'm working on a Jess fic, but it's post-series. And it's not quite done yet. So maybe it's not what you'd like. Now I'm worried.

Okay, also, I'm having a hard day. I had planned on finishing the fic tonight. But tonight I feel like shit. I'm so dizzy I can barely get across my house and my head is about to split open. Also, I just went with my parents as we put their cat to sleep this afternoon, so my eyes hurt from so much crying. I keep trying to work on the fic tonight, but it's not easy when I can't open my eyes and I'm too dizzy to sit up. Tonight is a BAD NIGHT. I'm so sorry.

Options... 1- I finish the fic and post it later this week. Maybe I can throw in a Ryan drabble or two to make it up to you?
2- I start over with a Ryanfic, as that's apparently what you'd prefer
