Thank you so much for sharing that wonderful picture of the Marauders with us! Whoever this artist is finally does justice to the images I have of these remarkable characters. They are totally attractive (my 10-year old says "Lupin is not half bad!". James' tousled head and exceptional reflexes are there - along with the genes that gave Harry his good looks! Lupin looks like one of those GQ type intellectual guys seen studying in college libraries. Sirius - Ahhhhh! If only he were on his feet and looking like he was ready to go on the prowl - but the look in his eyes is pure animal magnetism. Peter is passably mousy looking, and Snape over in the distance looks dark and brooding even from afar.

I just love it! One of my favorite passages in the book too (of course, there are many!)

Her new thing is to do a picture a day from Order of the Phoenix- one from every chapter, I think. She has a whole section dedicated to them on her site. She has a ton of other pics, but most are offline (she's had trouble with her host) and her site is being redone, but many are up there.
And getting a 10-year old's approval, that's VERY impressive! As for this pic-I can't tell if that's Snape, or if Snape is the dark shadow by the bushes in the far back... might be either... I just love Remus *G* I've always thought of him as the bookish type (no friends before Hogwarts, closed up in the house... reading seems just a natural hobby with a life like that)

Oh, and the pic finally worked for me! OMG. It's so well done! I fully expected an anime pic or something, but this was wonderful! And I just saved it so I can use it on my desktop after my brother leaves for college again *g* Too bad he can't appreciate HP!

The artist is incredible- I love her Weasleys especially. Makes Percy look... much more irresistable than I find him in the movies. http://www.artdungeon.net/
And a nice place to hide and look at great artwork for a while when I'm sick of anime-style HP.
She's got a LOT of slash but is currently redoing her site so it's not up right now. But her big thing are these Order of the Phoenix pics. Man.. she makes me wish I had some artistic ability! lol

I just looked through the other HP5 pics - I love this one (http://www.artdungeon.net/ootp/template.php?p=phoenix09) of the OotP! I *love* the way she's drawn Lupin... *much* better than David Thewlis! Like you, I was quite disappointed when I saw him. I haven't looked up anything else of his, though. And Sirius... I don't know. He's not like what I pictured him, either. I'm not sure I'm going to like the HP3 movie, at this rate, with Quidditch being out, and Sirius and Lupin being... so unlike how I pictured Sirius and Lupin! But the pic again - *g* Loved Lupin!! And Kingsley Shacklebolt! And Tonks! *l* And Mad-Eye Moody definitely looks freaky, there... I just posted the link for the HP pics on another list -I hope they appreciate them!

And she has slash, you say? *interest* *l* Any A/L, by any chance? *g* I'd like to see the rest of her artwork! But I figured out what makes my connection die, today - trying to load pages from new URLs. Isn't that stupid?! I want cable, or something! I'm looking forward to your emails, too, but anytime is fine, really :o)

Oh dear! Dead connections are not good! My ISP goes out for a few random hours every week. My boyfriend and I phone each other to be sure that's what it is and it's not that one of us forgot to pay the bill. LOL
Though art dungeon was up and down all night, so that might have been contributing to your problem of connecting to it specifically as well.

As far as I know, she only does HP art- but I don't know her personally (just admire her stuff) so I don't know for sure. She does a great Remus/Sirius, and it was her Percy/Oliver that got me into that ship. She does Draco/Ron, but mostly Ron/Hermione which is done SO sweetly it kills me. She also does some twincest with Freg/George which ALMOST makes me want to write one of those. Almost. That's a little too weird even for me. At least today. LOL I've got the lot saved on my comp... if she takes too long getting it up, I could send on e-mail.

A link to her site was coincidentally posted today on The Leaky Cauldron, so I don't think reposting the link to other lists would be a problem at all. She does a LOT of pictures from fanfics, and after reading one such fic, I followed the link to art site. Honestly, there are probably a billion and a half ways to get to her page now :-) lol

As for the third movie. I just tell myself that it's one group of people's interpretation of the books. I'm sure I won't hate Thewlis as much as I now feel I will... but either way, there were points about the first and second movie I didn't like, and I'm SURE there will be parts of the third as well. But the movie won't make me love the book any less. So I'm not too worried. I will admit that I'm probably going to buy a LOT of marauder paraphenalia(sp?) when those hit the stores, though! :-)
