I definitely didn't get a lot written this year numbers-wise, but content-wise, I had one of my favorite years ever. Spending the entire month of November on stories for my new favorite trope (the Soulmate Goose of Enforcement) was such a treat. I had a lot of fun writing what I wanted to write this year, in addition to meme prompts. My only regret is not writing more Strokes stories.
Some of my favorite pieces:
Goals: Again, I'm wary of setting too many specific goals. But there are some stories that I've been wanting to write for a while now, so I would love if those finally became a thing in 2019. I also want to workshop more pieces at my writers' roundtable group. And I want to write an article or two for Pop Sugar. One goal I DO want to set is to keep tg's Realm updated throughout the year.

- Day 10 (Harry Potter; Neville/Charlie; NC-17) - There's just something about Charlie being turned on by his own sneezes and Neville being a super supportive boyfriend used to all of Charlie's strange kinks.
- A Goose in the Study (BBC Sherlock; Sherlock/John/Lestrade; R) - Within 48 hours of learning about the Soulmate Goose of Enforcement, I'd written this fic. It just spilled out of me nonstop, and I had such a marvelous time writing it.
- Less than Three Minutes (BBC Sherlock; Sherlock/John/Lestrade; NC-17) - There's just something about this OT3 and my headcanon for it (asexual!Sherlock, fetish!John) that gets me every time. It's so indulgent and delightful.
- A Seventh (Middle Earth; Polydwarves; NC-17) - Speaking of pairings I can't get enough of, I love my polyamorous dwarves so very much. It was such fun to write such a long story with them. I really got to explore each of their personalities and what they bring to the relationship as well as how they get along in certain pairs and smaller groups. It was also great to see Eagen's original workshop and everyone's reaction as they welcomed him into their marriage.
- The Worst (Best?) Defeat (Harry Potter; Oliver/Marcus; PG-13) - I felt like I did a lot of great writing in this, especially the dialogue. Slytherins aren't the easiest for me to write, but I thought Marcus came out perfectly here. It was also great to write more post-Percy angst for Oliver. And, of course, a green and purple magical soulmate goose was a fun element to play with.
- Training Session (Original; m/m; PG-13) - I spent a lot of time with the beginning of this in my head. When I went to finally write it out, it spilled out so quickly I had to take time off work to get it out. I LOVE when stories demand to be written like that. And now I really want to write more with these characters.
- Scotland the Brave (Original; m/m; NC-17) - This one gets an honorable mention because I also adore these characters. They were so much fun to play with. I love having a character who has such a specific fetish, as well. Plus, guys in kilts, I mean... it's a win-win for everybody.
Goals: Again, I'm wary of setting too many specific goals. But there are some stories that I've been wanting to write for a while now, so I would love if those finally became a thing in 2019.
