I remember years ago when I lived in the dorms, we had a problem in our room of somesort and when we asked people what we should do, they all suggested putting paint thinner on it. Goodness knows I don't remember what went wrong, but that was the solution, and my roommate and I looked at each other. Paint thinner? What would two girls without cars stuck in an undergrad dorm possibly have paint thinner on hand for?

OK, so this bloody ant problem... tis still haunting me. I looked up solutions that won't kill my cat in my household tips book (thank you Mom) and it says I should put sprigs of dried mint across their trails. OK, maybe I'm not very world-wise but where the heck would I find sprigs of dried mint in the middle of a college town, for goodness sakes?!

Bah.

Tonight

Whoohoo! I've got confirmation of sleet! In fact, I drove hom from Walmart in it. Loud, hard sleet. Man... I miss winter :-) I associate so many romantic things with winter... it's nice to see it back, albeit temporarily.

Bought Serendipity on DVD tonight. Yay! Such a sweet movie.
And watched Dogma today. Ok, ok, so I downloaded it for Matt's sneeze. But I've always really liked the movie in general, and Alan Rickman's such a delight to watch. I swear, the man could say anything and I'll be a puddle at his feet. I'm thinking of watching Galaxy Quest again tonight just for him... *G* And I'm 99% sure I'm going to order 'Truly Madly Deeply' OK, ok, again for the sneeze/cold but it really does look like my kind of movie... and I'm prepared for the much crying that I'm sure I'll be doing.

And I watched the Stargate episode 'One False Step' tonight. Oh my gosh. *G* Daniel is much too cute. And I was in love with Jack every time he said "Bless" to him. *sigh* And Teal'c! Oh my gosh! I was soooooo worried about the lad all alone on the planet and hurt and oohhhh! *cuddles all the men*

Anyhoo... feeling sick... think I'll go, I dunno, do something for a while. I need to watch Anastasia again to get into the characters a bit more. I think I could do a bit better job with the fic if I were more poperly in the mood. :-)

OK, I just checked. There's about 2 inches of snow outside. *BG* Looks like we got back home just in time. YAY! Snow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love snow :-) This makes me soooooooooo happy. OK, I know, the flowers aren't going to be happy... but... it's soooooo pretty out! White blossoms on the trees... white snow on the branches and ground *sigh* Very odd, but very pretty.

Oh. My. Gosh. It started snowing around 3 or 4am here... AND IT HASN'T YET STOPPED!!! It's gorgeous outside! Must be... I don't know 4 inches? 5?
Poor flowers... but it's soooooooooooooo pretty out again!!! YAY SNOW!!!!!!!!!!

I knew it wasn't over. It just did't feel like winter was over to me. Everyone walking around and complaining that winter lasted too long and oh no too much snow. But it didn't feel like winter was over. They told me I was mad not to believe in spring but look! 5 inches of snow and it's still coming! Who's mad now? BWAHAHAHAHAHA! ;-)

Anyway, this feels like the end to me, it really does now. *sniffles* Ah. I love being right. LOL It's so pretty out!!!!!!!!!
