Where the heck...
Mar. 30th, 2003 01:52 amI remember years ago when I lived in the dorms, we had a problem in our room of somesort and when we asked people what we should do, they all suggested putting paint thinner on it. Goodness knows I don't remember what went wrong, but that was the solution, and my roommate and I looked at each other. Paint thinner? What would two girls without cars stuck in an undergrad dorm possibly have paint thinner on hand for?
OK, so this bloody ant problem... tis still haunting me. I looked up solutions that won't kill my cat in my household tips book (thank you Mom) and it says I should put sprigs of dried mint across their trails. OK, maybe I'm not very world-wise but where the heck would I find sprigs of dried mint in the middle of a college town, for goodness sakes?!
Bah.

Date: 2003-03-30 10:40 am (UTC)I don't know where they're coming from. I only see them around my bathroom sink area and my bathtub- both places my cat goes very frequently. I have not spotted any in other parts of the bathroom, or anywhere else in the apartment(thankfully). I have seen them come out of the bathtub drain(I just haven't seen that in about 4 months)... but I think they're coming out of the walls or something near the sink... but I just can't figure it out. Darn ground floor apartments :-) heehee
Thanks for the advice, though.
