Another April, another comment fic meme here on my LJ!



PROMPTS | FILLS

Directions:
1. Post prompts. Any fandom and any pairing, as long as there is potential sneezing involved from a male character. There is no limit to how many prompts you can post.
2. Please warn for anything current that might be potentially spoilery! (I haven't seen a bit of Season 9 of Supernatural yet, so PLEASE don't spoil me!)
3. Prompt posting will be open while there's interest.
4. Reply to any prompts you like with art/drabbles/ficlets/fics in parts/links to fics in your LJ. If doing a link to your LJ, the entry must not be friends-locked. Please warn for anything that might be a trigger including something an emetophobe like me might have a problem with.
5. Prompts can have as many fills as people feel like writing. Just because one person has filled a prompt doesn't mean you can't write for that prompt as well. Different spins on the same thing are absolutely welcome!
6. There will be no deadline for fic responses. If you see a prompt you like and want to write it, go ahead! There's no limit to how many you can write either. WRITE THEM ALL!
7. Please feel free to pimp this on any communities and forums you think would be interested in this.

Supernatural, Gen or Sam/Dean

Dean's got a really bad, super sneezy cold. So sneezy he can't possibly drive. But they can't stop, not even for a night. So Sam tucks him into the back seat of the impala.

Bonus Points: Dean is sniffly and unable to drive but totally able to criticize Sam's driving.

BBC Sherlock, John/Greg/Sherlock established relationship

It's John's role to look after the others (though Greg has more sense than Sherlock, he does occasionally find himself in need of a doctor). When John gets ill, however, Greg & Sherlock disagree on the best course of treatment.

I just want to see some sleeve play. A cold character pulling his hands into his sleeves, wiping a nose on the cuff, sneezing into the crook of the elbow, etc.

Avengers His Dark Materials AU, where each of the avengers has a daemon. And one of those daemons is especially perceptive and notices when one of the team members is starting to catch a cold.

Sam's definitely got this one weird allergy to something that they don't encounter very often; in fact, they haven't encountered it since they were kids. Fast forward to adulthood, and Sam is briefly by himself for whatever reason and around whatever that thing is again. He's pretty confused by it -- maybe he thinks he's getting sick, or maybe he thinks he's just sneezing -- until he meets up with Dean again, who (of course) totally remembers but has to convince Sam with a trip down memory lane.

Supernatural, Sam/Jess or Sam/Dean or Gen or whatever the author prefers because I am totally indifferent.

Sam never had to be good at taking care of himself - that was always Dean's job. To know what kind of medicines worked best and when to take them, how much rest and water he needed, how to make the foods he liked when he wasn't feeling well. Naturally, the first time he comes down with a cold at Stanford is a struggle because he has no idea what to do.

Jax has a cold and is staying at his room at the clubhouse (I dunno why--maybe he doesn't want Able getting sick?). Gemma smothers him with care appropriately but Jax still does the tough guy thing.

So, in Desolation of Smaug, Thranduil has this really nifty-looking pool in or near his chambers. I've had so many thoughts in regards to this. In my mind, it's nice and warm water, and a great place to help freezing princelings to feel better. Or maybe it has healing properties?

Or slashy version: sniffly Legolas and his dwarven lover take a little illicit dip in daddy's pool. Will they get caught? ;)

The Hobbit (prefer pre-Hobbit movie, but whatever), Gen or Kili/Fili

Kili & Fili are separated for whatever reason and one of them comes across a plant he's never seen before that ends up making him sneeze his head off. When they reunite, he's still sneezing and the other looks after him.

Bonus points for promising to never leave when the other needs help

Extra bonus points if the other makes the same promise and sneezes repeatedly while trying to say it.

Sam was seriously injured/ill as a child, which required him to be hospitalized for a few days. Dean bought him a stuffed dog to watch over him. Sam pretended to be too old for it at the time, but Dean noticed something in Sam's bag one day and, when he had a chance to secretly investigate, found the old stuffed dog there.

Alternatively: Sam's sick now and Dean goes on a small quest to find a stuffed dog for his brother, similar to the one Sam had back in the day.

Bonus points in either version for Sam snuggling it (either boldly while Dean's watching or when he thinks Dean isn't watching)

Someone (John? Molly?) gets Sherlock a stuffed animal when he's not feeling well and Mycroft teases him about it when visiting. Sherlock sticks up for it and makes a very convincing case, even if his nose is all sniffly and stuffed-up.

Bad with titles of fics? Here's the solution! Pick a children's book and write a fic based on its title.

Slash like whoa. Sam has a sneeze kink Dean still doesn't know about. Dean gets this bad head cold and the meds he takes are making him horny. Cue Sam being secretly delighted that Dean asks for some sex but his kind of embarassed because he keeps sneezing and sniffling the whole time.

Dean's just back from Hell and his favorite thing to do is drive his baby. Sam steps aside and lets him, of course. But Dean likes to drive with the music up and the windows down and Sam's got a new allergy to whatever's in this part of the country. Sam doesn't want to bring Dean down, so he pretends it's just a little cold, which means he has to fake sneeze at night when they're stopped at a motel (not hard, as the drive during the day has made him so congested).

Anything with inducing would be so awesome, can be with either one of them. I've seen a lot of sneezefic for this fandom, but nothing involving inducing. c:

Naomie's been behind the scene for a while now but before she brainwashed Castiel into killing Dean multiple times, before she holed his ass in Heaven to reprogram him again in "Rapture" , she first tried a more subtle approach. She gave him a severe cussing allergy. And of course, nobody cusses as much as Dean.

Bonus if Dean's cussing level gets worse as Cas sneezes more and more. And Sam has to shut him up. :)

The last time Dean was sick, Sammy set him up right in the backseat of the impala with pillows and blankets and Nyquil. Now Sam's sniffly and Dean plans to repay the favor. But Sam's not comfortable. He's too tall to stretch out and Nyquil just makes him loopy instead of putting him to sleep and easing his symptoms. He's miserable and just wants to stop and get a proper night's sleep in a motel bed somewhere. But Dean is moody and doesn't like the idea of Sam giving up yet again, like he's not really into the lifestyle of being on the road again.
